Hello there internet!
Here is a tiny little snippet of the Limerick show and a story about my time in Australia. Theres a few more of these videos, as shot my the incredibly Lucy Dawson, coming out over the next few weeks so keep an eye out for them.
WOW! How did it get to April already?
Where have I been. Let me tell you.
I've been in Perth for 5 weeks, Adelaide for 4, Newcastle for a week and a weekend in Limerick with the award winning [Late Night] GameShow and my solo show Self Absorbed Tw*t.
Whilst I was there I got a load of reviews, including:
★★★★ "There's no such thing as boundaries with Andrew Silverwood" - Weekend Notes
★★★★ "Quick-wit, dripping sarcasm and self-deprecating jokes make for a solid hour of laughter" - Adelaidian
"A likeable, quick witted and cheeky young lad from London with some funny one-liners and a skill for improvisation" - The Advertisier
Oh and a video trailer from the Irish show is coming in the next couple of weeks, which is good, because I'll need that to start promoting my EDINBURGH FRINGE SHOW this August!
That's right. In August I'll be in Edinburgh at The Mockingbird Bar for The Free Fringe, which means you can see me for an ENTIRE MONTH in Scotland for whatever price you want.
But before that, I have shows lined up in Barnstaple, in Sevenoaks and NEXT THURSDAY I have a very special, one off, ten minute slot at Solent Comedy, in PORTSMOUTH, which is pretty much my only homecoming show I have booked this year.
That's right, we haven't even opened in Adelaide yet (Self Absorbed Tw*t opens on Thursday and you can click here for tickets) but we've EXTENDED the Australian Tour and now we'll be smashing our way through to Newcastle in New South Wales from 22nd-26th March!
You can grab your tickets here.
Oh and check this.. Last month at Fringe World in Perth, the show got a ★★★★ 4 star review from LAUGH Kookaburra.
And if you're not on the Southern Hemisphere, you can nab tickets to our one off show at Dolan's in Limerick, Ireland on April 1st here.
Happy New Year!
As I'm sure you know, I have a huge year ahead with a big tour of Australia starting on January 20th and carrying on into March when I travel to Ireland for a show.
But before all that, I am very excited to announce that my beautiful and talented friend, Laurie Black, has invited me onstage at her Bad Luck Cabaret in Camden, a week on Friday, 13th January. I'll be telling some gigglers and stories and this will be the last chance you main land UKers get to see me on stage until at least April, because, you know, tour stuff!
There's also some other stella talent on the bill. Here are the deets:
Bad Luck Cabaret
The Black Heart, Camden
Friday 13th January, 9pm
£5 Adv, £7 on the door
Oh, after an exciting couple of weeks of shows in London and Brighton, it gives me TOO MUCH pleasure to announce that tickets have just gone on sale for my shows at this year's Adelaide Fringe.
So here are the details: For more info on the shows, click the ticket link, but in a nutshell, Self Absorbed: My brand new Gothenburg Fringe "Most Provocative" shortlisted stand up show. GameShow: My Stockholm Fringe Award winning improvised anarchy.
[LATE NIGHT] GAMESHOW
Keep your eyes on this page for more dates in the coming weeks! Next year is about taking the world by storm!
I haven't been overly quiet about it on Twitter and Facebook, so most of you reading this will probably already know that I'm going to be touring abroad from January until April 2017. It does mean that I simply MUST do some gigs before I go.
So let me have the pleasure to announce these London slots in November and December:
4th Novemver Comedy B East at the Beehive in Bow, 8:00pm.
25th November Comedy Bin at T-Birds near Finsbury Park, 8:00pm
9th December Comedy Bin at T-Birds near Finsbury Park, 8:00pm
Remember, this is your last chance for UK audiences to see me live until May next year! (say what?)
Speaking of abroad.. You should know that a MASSIVE CHUNK of my live dates for next year will be announced here on December 7th!
Thanks to the lovely people of Stockholm Fringe who took my solo show, Self Abosorbed Tw*t, at the beginning of the month. It was great to scratch out the new material ready for the big tour in the new year.
BUT BEFORE ALL THAT......
My award winning GameShow is getting a revamp.
On December 1st at 8pm we launch the first ever interactive GameShow, at North Laine Brewhouse in BRIGHTON, UK.
It's free entry and it's fully interactive, you get to take part in the mess and madness. It's going to be a lot of fun and a great end to what has been a great year for me.
Not long now until my new show, Andrew Silverwood is a "Self Absorbed Tw*t," premiers in your fine city.
YOU can get tickets for the Thursday 18th (21:00) and Saturday 20th (22:15) shows from THIS LINK.
You can also see me at Taste The Fringe on Friday 19th.
It's going to be a wild ride. Make sure you're there!
"He's just another self absorbed twat..
..Still, Silverwood is very charming" - Great Scott Media, 2016.
A show about giving people what they want. Based on a review in an online magazine and the general consensus of my ex girlfriends, it's time to look at who and what and why and if a leopard can ever really change his spots.
My first solo stand up comedy show, premiering at Gothenburg Fringe Festival this August.
18th August - 21:00
20th August - 22:15
at Frilagret, Göteborg, Sweden
